I recently found out that I had run out of plastic glue while having a load of Perry WotR plastics to assemble. So on a visit to a local hypermarket, I checked if they had any plastic gum around, and ended up buying a bottle of Revell liquid plastic glue called Contacta Professional person. Once I figured out how the canteen worked, I was quite impressed by this product. The mucilage itself is pretty decent liquid plastic glue, merely the really nice characteristic is the long and really thin nozzle used to excerpt the mucilage from the bottle. This allows one to squeeze out tiny drops of gum, which is just what I need when assembling the Perry figs. Also, since the nozzle is so this, there is less worry about the glue fumes getting out of the bottle, compared to the brush-on glues I have used previously – where opening the chapeau to get glue as well exposed 1 to quite some glue fumes. Co-ordinate to the side of the canteen, information technology should contain 28 grams of glue. This should last for a while – my only worry at the moment is most the thin nozzle getting clogged, but should that happen it should be hopefully be relatively easy to open with a needle. Let's see if that will happen. Overall, I am quite happy with this glue for the time beingness.

If it'due south similar to the long, thin metal nozzle used with Testor's Model Principal glue, y'all shouldn't have whatever problems with clogging- I've used Testor'south (forth with MicroMark'due south "Same Stuff," depending on the job) for years, and never had a nozzle clog. For that matter, I'm only on my 4th canteen of Model Master, at that, and they're not huge bottles. - Monk

Contacta is skilful stuff! It gives you lot enough time to become things positioned nicely. The bonus of the needled bottle as well means that teenage gluesniffers accept a more efficient way of getting loftier…

I�ve used the same revell glue on my WotR perrys. Works very well. I�ve used the aforementioned "dispensers" for ages, these picture and take had absolutely no problems with them yet. Cheers paul

the needle does eventually clog. go to plan b, apply the needle as a stopper and drip the glue straight from the tiny nozzle on the bottle.

If it is clogged, y'all tin can "burn" information technology free: clasp the bottle very gently, and become with a match or lighter along the needle from bottle to open end. Somewhen it says pffft. Finish with burn down and spend ane drop running through the needle to remove any residuals. Greetings, Bernhard

Open flame and plastic mucilage does not sound like the safest combination out there…
